1992 Bert.started working in Soncotra, a transport company belonging to his father and made the first contacts with Russian transporters to transport Belgian goods to Moscow. In 1996 , Soncotra invested itself in thermo- and tilttrailers which resulted in continuous growth of Soncotra.
In 1999 it opened the first representative office in Minsk and later in Moscow, Kaliningrad and Sofia.They now have 57 tilttrailers and 56 thermotrailers and are experienced in transporting high-value goods. They are specialised in organising transport from and to Russia + CIS-countries , Eastern Europe and the Balkans.
Their clients include several multinationals in the Pharma,Cosmetic and automotive sectors.

Soncotra is specialised in international road transport from and to Eastern Europe, the CIS (specialty Russia) and the Balkans. Thanks to our own satellite equipped fleet and our long-term experience with our Eastern European and Russian subcontractors, we can meet all your demands and requirements for transport and logistics.
