In this presentation John Bradley, Director, NIHR Biomedical Research Centre, introduces the NIHR BioResource and identifies the initial focus for patient recruitment.

Introducing the NIHR BioResource: a national cohort of healthy volunteers and patients who participate in clinical research. Provide clinical information and samples that enable recall to studies by genotype and phenotype

  • NIHR Biomedical Research Centres and Units: recalling volunteers to participate in experimental medicine studies undertaken in local Clinical Research Facilities
  • Identifying the initial focus for patient recruitment
