Mary Ann Bopp

<p>As a manager in Human Resources in IBM, Mary Ann Bopp blends twenty years of corporate education, training, performance consulting and project management experience and ten years of management ac-counting experience to achieve business success.</p> <p>Ms. Bopp, a member of the IBM Center for Learning and Development team, has a job that has many facets revolving around career development.</p> <ul> <li>She leads career development for IBM.&nbsp; She is responsible for many career development pro-grams including the IBM Corporate Mentoring program, and employee competencies and man-agement of the associated curriculum of over 250 associated classroom and e-learning activities.</li> <li>She manages &ldquo;Blue Opportunities&rdquo;, a formal learning program that focuses on experiential, on-the-job learning</li> <li>She leads a new effort to create a Career Framework for all IBM employees that focuses on cli-ent-valued capabilities.</li> </ul> <p>Ms. Bopp earned a master of science degree in educational psychology from Fordham University, a mas-ter of business administration degree from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI), and a bachelor of business administration degree in accounting from Siena College.</p> <p>Ms. Bopp balances work with interests in golf, tennis, skiing, walking/hiking, and volunteering with her two certified therapy dogs for visits to local nursing home and hospitals.</p>
