Sarah Hill is the Chief Digital Storyteller for Veterans United Home Loans where she is the Hangout Host for Veterans United Network – a leading hub of news and advice on veteran and military issues.
Currently at the Veterans United Network, the 12-time Emmy winning journalist travels the nation reporting about veterans and military families. During her live broadcasts, Sarah uses Google+ Hangout technology to bring the audience into a face to face relationship with the presenter. This unique webcam interaction on a social broadcast network is something she calls "Human Media."
Sarah, a former TV news anchor in Missouri, is part of the Google Glass Explorers program and was one of the first to receive a prototype of this hands-free computer. At Veterans United, she is using this device to do mobile reports from the nation's memorials for terminally ill and aging veterans unable to physically travel. Sarah helped start an organization called Central MO Honor Flight, which flies terminally-ill and aging WWII veterans at no cost to them to see their memorials in Washington, D.C.
