Over the past 6 years, Philip’s roles within Schneider Electric have focused on business processes and Finance team development. Firstly, from May 2006 to June 2009, as global head for Finance & Control on the Bridge project. This project, the largest of its kind ever undertaken by the Company, drove the standardization & globalization of processes within an SAP-ERP environment, working in a collaborative way across all geographic divisions. Then, from mid-2009, as the China-based head of Finance Shared Services for the Asia-Pacific region, which he has grown to an organisartion with over 500 employees today.
Immediately prior to this period he was the Schneider Group’s Finance & Control Director for the Middle East Region.
He is no stranger to Asia, having worked in the Asian Region during the 1990s, first with 2 of the Big 4 Audit & Consulting companies (Deloitte & Coopers & Lybrand - now part of PWC), and thereafter in different Finance roles within the businesses of Schneider Electric.
A Chartered Accountant by qualification, and a global business mind, he has spent the last 25 years living and working in 7 different cities, on 3 different continents.
