Graham Anderson

Graham Anderson has a depth of experience in both private enterprise and the public service, starting with 7 years in the duty free industry, 15 years in the Australian Customs Service and 10 years in the Australian Quarantine and Inspection Service (now DAFF).  He was previously contracted on the Gorgon Project Western Australia as Chevron’s Quarantine Systems/Interface Coordinator. Graham has been 12 months back in DAFF and is currently responsible for managing the development and roll out of the Biosecurity Management Plan framework to the major resources and energy sector.  The primary aim of the Biosecurity Management Plan initiative is for DAFF to work in partnership with major project proponents to implement systems to ensure that biosecurity risks are kept off-shore resulting in the protection of Australia’s biodiversity and importantly, minimising project schedule delays.
