As Director of Cummins Business Services, Julie manages Shared Services operation to provide IT, HR and Accounting services to Cummins China, Mongolia, Japan, Korea, Singapore, Philippines and Russia.
Julie joined Cummins in 1999. She worked as Accounts Payable Manager in Cummins Business Services North America, Six Sigma Black Belt, and Enterprise Risk Management Director at Headquarters. In 2006, Julie was relocated to China, taking the roles of Cummins East Asia Quality Director and subsequently Engine Business Unit Customer Service Director before rejoining Cummins Business Services in 2010. Prior to Cummins, Julie was a government auditor.
Through her own practice, Julie firmly believes that shared service platform is a key strategic element for international companies’ globalization, and that it is also an important driving force for developing the outsourcing industry in China. Julie is enthusiastic about building a communication network for shared service practitioners. She is the co-leader of AmCham-China Business Process Outsource Forum.
Julie also committed to Corporate Responsibility. She has chaired Cummins China Corporate Responsibility Committee from 2007 to 2010 during which cultivated 30 China Community Involvement Teams and executed more than 250 community involvement projects. Cummins China won the Best Corporate Citizen Award in three consecutive years, and nominated for the U.S. Secretary of State’s Award for Corporate Excellence in 2009.
Julie holds a Master Degree of Professional Accountancy from Indiana University Kelley School of Business and a Bachelor degree of Economics from Nankai University.
