Robert Reid

Robert Reid is a Senior Chief in the United States Navy; a position of authority which bears distinction of being amongst the top 3 percent of the Navy’s Enlisted Ranks.  With 22 years of Naval Service (to date), his long history of process and performance improvement dates back to 1993 with the completion and implementation of Total Quality Leadership and Total Quality Management (TQL and TQM).  Although these “Deming” system approaches were not fully embraced throughout the Department of Defense, Robert successfully leveraged the improvement methodologies to effect sweeping changes in Law Enforcement policies, training and practices across the Navy.

Certified as a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt, he currently holds a title of Continuous Performance Improvement Deployment Champion at a dual Marine Corps and Navy Aviation Maintenance site, which was consecutively awarded as the “AIRSpeed (CPI) Site of the Year” (awarded 2008 and 2009, and a runner-up for 2010-2011).  ).  These awards serve tribute to sustained CPI innovation accomplishments and hard work of 450 Marines, Sailors and civilians assigned to FRC West Fort Worth and MALS-41.  More in-depth professional and personal background information is available on Robert’s Linked-in Profile page:
