Carol Parker

Born and raised in the military, Dr. Carol A. Parker is an energetic motivational speaker and university instructor with a strong educational background in teaching management, human resource management, leadership, entrepreneurship, business and managerial communications in multi-cultural university, and military campus venues. She is an active advisor to the Hawaii Pacific University Students in Free Enterprise team and recognized as a Sam Walton Fellow.

Her research areas include women’s higher education attainment and leadership; military institutional culture, organizational process and change management.

Dr. Parker has had the privilege of obtaining 3 higher education degrees – Bachelor of Science from California State Polytechnic University – Pomona; a Master of Science in Administration from Central Michigan University; and a Doctorate in Education from the University of Southern California.

Dr. Parker currently teaches undergrad and MBA level classes at Hawaii Pacific University. In Spring 2010 she had the opportunity to observe instructional techniques at the United States Army Intelligence Center at Ft. Huachuca, Arizona, with the goal of one day participating as a guest lecturer.

Her community activities include membership in Toastmaster’s International, Hawaii Kai Toastmasters Club as VP-Education.
