As the practice leader for Sequent’s Human Resource Management System Services, Jim Torrence is responsible for leading the Human Resource Management Systems Group. He is responsible for delivering select technology solutions that serve the human resource/payroll organization. Those responsibilities include implementing time and attendance systems, integrated resource/payroll systems and learning management systems.
Torrence brings 20 years of business experience in accounting, finance, software implementation, project management and personnel management. Prior to joining Sequent, Torrence was the consulting executive for Crowe Chizek and Company and the Professional Services Director for Ultimate Software.
Torrence received his B.A. in accounting from Marquette University and his M.B.A. from Depaul University.
Torrence is a certified public accountant and a member of the American Payroll Association and the Society of Human Resource Management.
