<p><span style="font-size: 10pt; color: blue; font-family: Arial; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; mso-ansi-language: EN-US; mso-fareast-language: EN-US; mso-bidi-language: AR-SA">Genworth Financial (NYSE:&nbsp;GNW), formerly GE Financial, was created in May, 2004, by an IPO from General Electric.&nbsp;It is an insurance and financial products company headquartered in Richmond, VA, with about 7000 people.</span></p> <div>John is the 1<sup>st</sup> ever CLO in Genworth&rsquo;s history, having been with them since their creation as a public company.&nbsp;He is responsible for executive and management development, encouraging technical development in the functional areas, promoting and providing employee development, especially through e-Learning, and sharing best practices across the Genworth training community.</div> <div>John had worked for General Electric for more than 27 years* plus three years as the training leader at Honda.&nbsp;During his career he held a number of different roles in training, organization development and human resources.&nbsp;His areas of expertise include performance management, work teams, instructional design and leadership development.&nbsp;Over the years, he has facilitated hundreds of teams and work groups.</div> <div>&nbsp;<span>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; John has a M.Ed. from Vanderbilt in Human Resource Development and a BS in Education from Oswego State (NY).&nbsp;He has spoken at a number of professional societies, conference and meetings.&nbsp;He has also facilitated and trained in Asia and Europe, as well as in the U.S.</span></div>
