After receiving a degree in accounting from Temple University, Special Agent Shauna Frye accepted a position as a Special Agent with the Internal Revenue Service - Criminal Investigation Division where she was employed for 15 years. 

In 2015, looking to gain new experiences and expertise, Special Agent Frye transferred to the Food and Drug Administration - Office of Criminal Investigations.  During her career , SA Frye has investigated cases involving money laundering, misbranded/adulterated drugs and counterfeit drugs.  Recently, SA Frye was assigned to the Port of Entry program within FDA-OCI, a program focused on intercepting illicit drugs that are entering the United States from foreign countries and coordinating with other law enforcement agencies to shut down the associated organizations and channels.
