Ana Laura Guerrero, Ph.D. is Sr Logistics Analyst, Packaging Engineer at Illumina. She is an engineer with a strong multidisciplinary research and industry background.  She joined Illumina on February 2018, after being an Assistant Professor at Cal Poly Pomona for almost 3 years responsible for teaching and developing the courses of Quality, Engineering Economics and Reliability. Prior to teaching, she did Heat and Mass Transfer Research for 5 years at UC Riverside and did materials reliability research for 2 years at UT El Paso. Before starting her Ph.D. studies she worked as a Hazmat Packaging Engineer for Delphi Automotive Systems for 3 years. She has been actively involved with the Association for Women in Science since 2011, where she currently serves as the San Diego Chapter treasurer.
