What Constitutes “Natural” or “Organic” in the Absence of a Regulated Definition
While the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) requires that products be properly labeled and that ingredients be “generally recognized as safe” when used as directed, it doesn’t approve cosmetics or other personal care products directly.
