Value Beyond Compliance

Today, the pharmaceuticals industry struggles to ensure the integrity of its products as they are transferred between the different parts of the supply chain from contract manufacturers to wholesalers to dispensers and ,finally, to the patient. This is particularly true as products move across international borders encountering various regulatory nuances and geography-specific threats. With infant mortality rates down and life expectancy up, our population is poised to grow exponentially increasing the need for drugs and therefore putting pressure on manufacturers to provide safe, reliable and effective drugs.

Counterfeiting, product theft and public health are real concerns that need serialization solutions.  To make matters more challenging, global data standards are still evolving in major markets like China, the EU and the US making global, regulatory compliance very difficult in the looming shadow of US Federal Drug Supply Chain Security Act (DSCSA) and Drug Quality and Security Act of 2013 (DQSA) compliance. Most importantly, it is imperative we look towards the future of emerging technologies like Blockchain, Electronic Product Code Information Services (EPCIS), GS1, barcoding, and the reality of better business decisions in aggregation to get ahead and not just play catch-up.

Join us at the 2018 Pharma Traceability Summit this spring to explore ways to ensure regulatory compliance, protect your supply chain and keep track of your products while maintaining profitability and speed to market.
