Jean-Marie Geoffroy, PhD is currently Vice President of Global Parenteral Products Development within Pfizer’s Pharmaceutical Sciences Small Molecule organization. Dr. Geoffroy studied pharmacy at the University of Rhode Island and obtained his PhD in Pharmaceutics from the University of Wisconsin, Madison. His 33 years of technical experience include oversight of all aspects of CMC product development in solid oral and injectable dosage forms. He is an internationally recognized expert and speaker in the areas of advanced analytics, Quality by Design, risk management, process optimization and Process Analytical Technology (PAT). Prior to Pfizer, he has held various management positions within Pfizer’s Global Supply organization, Hospira, Takeda, TAP Pharmaceuticals, Abbott Laboratories, and Marion Merrell Dow. Roles Dr. Geoffroy has held also include management of Operational Excellence, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Manufacturing Sciences, Quality and Regulatory Affairs for multiple organizations.
