Ashley is the Head of Laboratory Sciences within the Corporate Quality & Food Safety team at Mars, Incorporated. Ashley has led the development of the Corporate Laboratory Strategy and driven crucial activity programs in laboratory governance, competency and capability building. He has over 16 years’ experience in Quality and Food Safety testing within Mars Incorporated, from bench analysis and method development through to operations management and strategic planning. 
Ashley has a BSc (Hons) in Applied Chemistry from Nottingham Polytechnic and a PhD from the Nottingham Trent University in Liquid Crystal synthesis and characterization.
