Dirk Deleersnijder
Associate Director Computerized Systems Quality Assurance UCB
Dirk started his career at Janssen Pharmaceutica, a subsidiary of J&J, as an analytical chemist. He held various positions as an analytical research lab manager covering spectroscopy, chromatography and physicochemistry. During that time he also obtained a degree in Computer sciences at the university of Brussels (VUB).
In 2002 he joined UCB as a Computerized Systems Quality Assurance manager setting up a quality system and managing validation & auditing activities.
Dirk became a corporate auditor in 2016, expanding his auditing scope to all UCB internal & outsourced GMP/GDP activities. Within the auditors team, he is the expert in computer systems auditing and related quality systems.
Dirk is also highly involved in assuring Data Integrity within the UCB organization.
