James Yuan

Sr. Director, Computational Intelligence Analytics PepsiCo

James Yuan is Sr. Director of Computational Intelligence & Analytics supporting PepsiCo Global R&D.  James has been working in Food and Beverage industry for over 25 years with different leadership capacities.  He has over 80 publications and 40 patent applications in food safety, packaging, non-thermal process applications and health care.  James has Ph.D. degree in Food Science with minor in Computer Science.  He was Chair of IFT Non-Thermal Processing Division and served as Member-at-large for Biotech Division.  His current research passion is advanced analytics for Food & Beverage innovations.
