Rekha Lakshmanan is the Global Head of the Data Office at AstraZeneca, where she leads enterprise data strategy to enable AI-driven innovation, operational excellence, and digital transformation across global operations. She is responsible for advancing AI-ready data foundations, governance, and analytics capabilities to support the company’s ambition of transforming how medicines are developed, manufactured, and delivered worldwide.

Prior to AstraZeneca, Rekha served as Chief Data and Analytics Officer at Honeywell and held senior leadership roles at Accenture, Oracle, State Street, Las Vegas Sands, and Siemens Healthineers, leading large-scale data and analytics transformations across multiple industries.

An alumna of the University of Oxford with a Master’s degree in Management, Rekha also serves on the Advisory Board for the Applied Statistics, Analytics, and Data Science program at the University of Kansas and on the Board of Directors for Big Brothers Big Sisters in the Washington, DC region.
