Robert Guenard

Executive Director Data Sciences, Pharmaceutical Sciences, R&D Pfizer

Rob has worked in multiple capacities in the chemical and bio-pharmaceutical industries for more than 25 years. Rob currently leads the newly formed Data Sciences Organization in Pharm Sciences in Pfizer R&D where he has been since July 2023. His new organization has the mission to implement and support digital technologies and lead the digital transformation of process and product development at Pfizer. He is passionate about realizing the value of new technologies in organizations by using management science to bring people and technology together. Prior to his current role, Rob worked at Biogen, Merck and at the Dow Chemical Company, where he worked in various leadership capacities. Rob received a B.S. in Chemistry from the University of Massachusetts - Lowell and a Ph.D. in Analytical Chemistry from the University of Florida. He is engaged in industry activities including serving on the Pharmaceutical Process Analytics Roundtable (PPAR) steering committee, Co-Chair of IFPAC 2020 & 2021 and a member of the IAAE Life Sciences Advisory Board.
