Claudia brings over 25 years of experience in supply chain and external manufacturing from Ciba Vision, Biogen, InterMune, and Roche, in Germany, France and Switzerland. Her first experience with orphan drugs supply chain was with InterMune. Within three years she successfully established their European distribution network and ensured supply chain readiness for the launch of ESBRIET in 15 countries . When InterMune was acquired by Roche in 2014, Claudia played a key role in the integration of the supply chain and then joined Roche's External Manufacturing team in Materials Management. Claudia’s key focus in her current role at Ultragenyx is to design and establish the commercial distribution network in Europe for Mepsevii, the first and only enzyme replacement therapy for mucopolysaccharidosis (MPS VII, Sly syndrome).
