In a study by Pharma IQ, commissioned ahead of the Compound and Sample Management conference in May 2012, more than four-fifths of respondents claimed that the key issue they faced in the integration of sample information with discovery data was the challenge in merging analytics with physical and automation data. Around half of those questioned in the survey had a library or sample management team responsible for biological materials or samples.
