With very limited opportunities for pre-market approval, only mainly in-market control inspections, cosmetic companies from all over the globe must employ rigid compliance awareness to ensure their launched products are compliant with EU law as well as the requirements of relevant member states.
Also, additional updates to cosmetic regulation are impending, as mentioned by the EU Commission earlier this year (Read more here).
With this in mind, cosmetic firms will soon have to face the prospect of audit-ready regulator’s approaching them asking: "Times up. Are you fully compliant yet?"
