In his role as the Associate VP of Chemicals and Materials Marketing, Petersen is responsible for developing Dotmatics’ strategy for the chemicals and materials industries. He has over 20 years of experience in informatics and simulation technologies in chemicals, materials and life sciences applications. He holds business consulting and various technology leadership positions and also managed a lab automation company. Petersen holds a PhD in Physics from Fritz-Haber-Institute of the Max-Planck-Society and a Masters in Physics from Technische Universität Berlin.



Alister Campbell, Global Head of Application Science at Dotmatics

Alister Campbell has 20 years experience in the pharma industry, previously working for GSK and Merck as a Medicinal Chemist in Neuroscience. For the past 12 years he has been heading up the Application Science Group working in scientific data informatics. Campbell has built a large global application science team delivering modern web-based scientific data querying, visualization and data capture software to customers in the pharmaceutical, biotech and chemicals and materials sector. He has also been closely involved in the development of the Dotmatics platform which has seen the business grow significantly in that time.
