Given that you invest so much time, money and resources on a product - don't you want to ensure the packaging in which it’s promoted is as good, if not better than what's inside? Successful commercialisation is the end point which every biopharma company strives for, but quite often packaging selection and design is overlooked or the last aspect to be considered.

Stuart is responsible for the packaging design and artwork management of all printed packaging components. Stuart has significant experience working with Regulatory Affairs ensuring printed packaging components are in line with the guidelines set out by the regulatory bodies in the UK/ROI, Europe, USA and Asia. Stuart also possesses extensive printing knowledge across all platforms and acts as the primary interface with print packaging suppliers to ensure components are printed and manufactured as per design specification.

Prior to joining Almac, Stuart previously held the position as Artwork Department Manager for a large veterinary pharmaceutical company for over ten years.

Ryta Kuzel has 18 years of European Regulatory Affairs experience with both large multinational Pharma companies as well as smaller Regulatory organisations. She has worked across many therapeutic areas and stages of drug development including submitting and gaining approval of products through the Centralised and Decentralised procedures, as well as heading up Regulatory Intelligence and Training functions and representing industry at various trade associations.

Colleen currently serves as the Director of Labelling at Vertex Pharmaceuticals in Cambridge, MA where she brings over 15 years of experience in labelling. Her most recent labeling successes include the approval and launch of IncivekTM (telaprevir) for hepatitis C in the US and KalydecoTM (ivacaftor) for cystic fibrosis in the US and Europe.
Prior to Vertex, Colleen headed Labelling departments at Stiefel Laboratories in Research Triangle Park, NC; TAP Pharmaceuticals in Lake Forest, IL; and Alcon Laboratories in Fort Worth, TX.
