Q: Who is your hero and why?

A: Rosa Parks.  She stood up for her beliefs in a simple, yet powerful & non-violet way while inadvertently becoming the “Mother of Civil Rights”.

Q: Who do you admire in the business world and why?

A: Steve Jobs.  He is a quite humble, multi-dimensional go-getter that has created an internationally famous company with amazingly well marketed products.

Q: What has been your greatest achievement?

A: Becoming the only female engineer in my entire family.

Q: What is your greatest regret?

A: Not traveling abroad in college.

Q: What is your favourite word?

A: Go!

Q: What is your least favourite word?

A: Fail.

Q: What profession other than yours would you like to attempt?

A: Surgeon

Q: What profession other than yours would you not want to attempt?

A: Insurance Sales

Q: Can you describe yourself in 3 words?

A: Just doing it…

Q: If you could meet any historical figure, who would it be and why?

A: Charles Darwin.  Survival of the Fittest is an amazing theory that combines evolution, anatomy & behavioral sciences.  He went against the grain at the time and to speak to a person whose brain works like that would be inspiring for anyone.

Q: What is your favourite book?

A: “And Then There Were None”, Agatha Christie

Q: What is your favourite film?

A: “The Nightmare Before Christmas”

Q: What is your most memorable quotation?

A: “Work Hard, Play Hard.”

Q: If your job requires a lot of travelling - what is your favourite journey?

A: My job does not require a lot of travel, however I do love traveling and learning about different religious beliefs, practices, and cultures.

Q: What is your favourite dish?

A: Pizza, it’s timeless.

Q: What food can you not stand?

A: Mushrooms

Q: What is the quality you most like in a leader?

A: Open-mindedness

A: Motivation

Q: Where do you see yourself in 10 years time?

A: Leading a cross-functional team at a biotech start-up.
