Spokane, Washington, U.S.A. June 2, 2010–  At the June 2010 Global Pharmaceutical Contract Manufacturing Convention in London, England, sterile fill/finish contract manufacturer, HollisterStier Contract Manufacturing, will present several core competencies that are essential when working with a contract manufacturing organization (CMO).  Jeff Milligan, HollisterStier’s Vice President of Operations and Business Excellence, and William F. Allen, PMP, Senior Manager, PMO, will present examples of specific core competencies that a potential client should consider when searching for a competent CMO.

“The focus of HollisterStier’s manufacturing operations is on the sterile fill/finish of liquid and lyophilized injectable products in vials.  Having worked with many products ranging from small Phase I to large commercial batch sizes, we have specialized insight into what works well and what are necessary benchmarks when moving a product through the manufacturing process,” said Mr. Milligan.  “Our presentation at GPCMC will briefly review a world class project management system for technical transfer of sterile products, state-of-the-art lyophilizers that automatically load vials at shelf temperatures down to -45C and a case study related to 100% non-destructive headspace testing of lyophilized finished product”.

The HollisterStier team will present at the Global Pharmaceutical Contract Manufacturing Convention on June 29th, 2010, at 2:30 p.m. in London.  For more information about HollisterStier or to see a list of their upcoming presentations and exhibitions, visit www.HScontract.com.
